Beginner guide to Electrical components.

 electronics components are used for manipulating, storing, sensing current.Electronic computer plays  a vital role in the modern technology because all electronics are made up of these components so in this article we will take a  brief look on Electrical electronics.

Billions of electric components are manufactured yearly,most are made from sillicon gotten from sand,so here are the lists of the components:

1.capacitors: consists of two  metals separated by a dielectric material.They are used in storing Electric current like DC and AC voltage.Capacitors are grouped into two which are:

(a) polarised capacitors:They are used for storing only DC voltage because DC voltage only has a constant polarity.

(b) non-polarised capacitors: They are used for storing only AC voltage because they has alternating polarity.

2.Transistors: are made from semiconductors,they have layers with the p type and the N type. They are used for stepping, switching on and off Current rapidly, regulating voltage etc. Here are some types of transistors

1.MOSFET

2.IGMOSFET

3.FET

categorically speaking we have two types of transistors which are 

NPN PNP transistors.

 NPN is negative for N, positive for P,it refers to the layer used to make the components.

3.Diodes: they are also made from a semiconductor materials like silicon,they has two layers NP, i.e the negative positive strip.They has polarity they white strip end is the negative while the other is positive,They allow voltage only one direction.When the positive(+) pin of the diode is connected to + pin of a battery and the negative (-) pin of the diode  is connected to to a LED it glows but when reversed nothing happens thus it allows current in only one direction.

4.resistors: are made from clay, carbon,metals and some materials ,they are use for resisting or decreasing the amount of Voltage in a circuit i.e reducing like 6v to 3v.

Types of resistor:

1.vairable: Thier resistance can be changed.

2.fixed resistor: Thier resistance can't be changed.

5.inductors: they are made from copper turns on a ferrite bead,they are used for regulating current and delaying current.

6.Transformer:are made with copper wire and a soft iron core ,it is used for stepping up or down voltage and current we have two types:

1.Center tapped transformer

2.normal transformer.
